Description
I am grateful that you've found my practice and may resonate with my approach. I currently hold a New York State Provisional License to practice talk therapy (License No. P130467) and am being supervised by Erica Priscilla Sandoval (Licensed in New York, License No. 090239).
As a Trauma-Informed Social Worker/Therapist, I integrate an understanding of how trauma affects the body, behavior, mental health, and your ability to engage in treatment into our sessions.
In our work together, I offer direct reflections and feedback on emerging themes. With the trust we build in our therapeutic alliance, we can explore deeper emotions, and thoughts. My goal is to support your liberation, healing, and the choices and changes that feel right and embodied for you.
My approach is rooted in community care, providing a space for you to explore insights about your life. I offer 50-minute psychotherapy sessions, which can include talk therapy alone or a combination of talk therapy and wellness practices.
My therapeutic framework blends strengths-based theory, Attachment Style Therapy, CBT, Liberation-Based Psychology, and Critical Race Theory, while also weaving in the philosophies of yoga and meditation.
